1. When can I convert?

Conversion can occur at any time now or in the future. Notifications of the availability of Version 5 and special pricing has been extended to all existing clients as a courtesy for their loyalty and committment to our online backup service.

2. Can I still pay by check?

At this time, Synectics can only accept credit card payments for the BackJack 5 service.

3. What if I miss my invoice date when converting?

v4 monthly invoices are pre-paid. If conversion occurs between monthly v4 invoicing dates, and upon the client's request, BackJack will pro-rate any previous v4 clients' invoices upon confirmation of the client's desire to convert to Version 5 and cancel their v4 account.

4. Can I pay for Version 5 monthly?

At this time, Synectics can only accept annual subscriptions for the BackJack 5 service. If you would like to discuss this with an Account Manager, please feel free to contact support@backjack.com and we will address your needs and situation.

4. How do I cancel my v4 account?

In order to avoid dual invoicing and cancel your v4 account, it is the client's responsibility to contact BackJack via email <support@backjack.com> or via phone (1-888-421-0220 Toll Free; 1-519-650-1559 International) and notify us of your intent to continue your service with Version 5. BackJack will immediately cancel your v4 account. All data currently stored with BackJack will remain safely stored for at least 30 days and no more than 45 days, after which time, the data will be purged and destroyed. Upon client's request, BackJack will pro-rate any previous v4 clients' invoices upon confirmation of the client's desire to convert to Version 5 and cancel their v4 account.
