Uninstalling BackJack
To uninstall BackJack, proceed as follows:
- Locate and drag the BackJack5 application file to the trash (this file is typically located within your Applications folder) - Note: trash the BackJack file only at this point and not the BJAutolaunch5 file (if you attempt to trash this file, it will simply tell you that it's in use)
- Keep your Applications folder open
- To remove the BJAutolaunch5 file, you will first need to quit this application via Activity monitor (this application can be launched via Applications/Utilities/
- Once you have opened Activity Monitor, locate the BJAutolaunch5 file in the list, highlight it and then under the File menu, select 'quit process' - this will quit the BJAutolaunch5 application
- Quit Activity Monitor
- Navigate back to your Applications folder and you should now be able to successfully drag the BJAutolaunch5 file to the trash
- Drag the entire BackJack5 folder to the trash (located in Users/<yourhomedirectory>/Library folder
