When you click on the 'Manage User' button from the main Backup window, you will notice two options as follows:
- the ability to log in to view/manage your User details
- the ability to subscribe to BackJack (if you are currently using our free account) or the ability to buy more Storage and/or Users via MyBackJack (if you are a subscriber)
Log in (Manage User)
You'll note how your Account ID and Username are already populated in the appropriate fields. Therefore, in order to proceed, you are required to enter your User password.
ACTION: Enter your User password and click on the 'Login' button
Once there, you will be viewing the 'Manage User' screen which contains pertinent information about your Account and sessions. This window allows you to:
- edit your email address (this is the email address where confirmation emails are sent at the end of each backup session). You will be required to enter and re-type a new email address
- view your backup history - note: this shows backup activity only and will not present you with any recoveries that you have performed on your Account
ACTION: Once you are done via the Manager User window, you can click 'Done' to get back to the login window
If you are a free account user, you will notice a 'Subscribe to BackJack' link. You can click on this link where you will then be directed to enter your Account ID, MyBackJack ID and MyBackJack password. Once you enter this information and have gained access to the MyBackJack portal, you will be able to subscribe to BackJack via the Subscribe link.
If you are a subscriber and wish to buy more Storage blocks and/or Users, you can select this link to log into MyBackJack. You will need to enter your Account ID, MyBackJack ID and MyBackJack password. Once you have logged into, you'll be able to select the 'Buy More' link via the left-hand navigation.
