Problem

You need to provide an ID, Username, or password but you do not know which one to use.

Resolution

Print out this Important Information sheet

so that you will have a place to write down each login credential.

Find out what each credential does (click here)

BackJack Account ID

Your BackJack Account ID is your account number. It is used for billing, support tracking, and logging into the MyBackJack Admin portal. It identifies your account.

Username

Your Username identifies your backup set within the account. *Note: If there is only one person backing up under your account, there will only be one Username.* The Username is used by account administrators to maintain their accounts. It is also used for support tracking.

BackJack Password

Your BackJack password allows you to make changes to your backup set. It also allows you to connect to our servers during a backup.

MyBackJack ID

Your MyBackJack ID is used to identify you when logging into the MyBackJack Admin Portal.

MyBackJack Password

Your MyBackJack ID is used to access the MyBackJack Admin Portal.

MyBackJack Registration Code

Your MyBackJack Registration Code is for the Forgot Password feature on the MyBackJack Admin Portal login page. This code verifies you as a legitimate MyBackBack login.

Encryption Passphrase

*This is the most important piece of information that you have.*

This is your key - without it, you cannot recover your files. We do not know it, and we cannot find out what it is. If you lose it, your data will be lost!

If you do not know your Encryption Passphrase, call us immediately! We cannot recover the Passphrase, but we can help you setup a new Username. This will allow you to start up a new backup and create a new Encryption Passphrase before you lose your files.

**Passwords are case sensitive**
