How to change a password

Problem
You need to change a password.
Resolution
Determine which password needs to be changed
Resolution A: BackJack Password
Your BackJack password allows you to make changes to your backup set. It also allows you to connect to our servers during a backup.
Change the BackJack Password
Via client software:
Via MyBackJack Admin Portal.
Via client software:
- Launch BackJack.
- Navigate to BackJack5 > Preferences from the Menu bar.
- Click Change Password.
- Enter your old password followed by your new password twice.
Via MyBackJack Admin Portal.
- Log into MyBackJack.
- Click on Manage Users.
- Click on the User whose password is being changed.
- Enter the User’s new password and re-type it.
- Click Submit
- Have the User launch BackJack.
- Have the User navigate to BackJack5 > Preferences from the Menu bar.
- Have the User click Change Password.
- Have the User enter the new password into all three fields.
Resolution B: MyBackJack Password
Your MyBackJack ID is used to access the MyBackJack Admin Portal.
Change your MyBackJack Password
*NOTE: Only the login owner can change their password.*

- Log into MyBackJack.
- Click on Manage Logins.
- Click on your login *NOTE: Only the login owner can change their password.*
- Click Change Password.
- Enter your old password followed by your new password twice.
