Symptoms
When you try to add an item to your "Items to Backup" list, you receive the error message above.
Explanation
This error occurs when you attempt to add an item to your backup set that is already included. For example, let's say that you back up your Documents folder. You create a new document called "doc.rtf" inside the Documents folder. You then add "doc.rtf" to your Backup set. You will receive an error. Why? You are already backing up "Documents" which contains "doc.rtf." Since you cannot back up the same item twice, BackJack stops you.
Resolution
- Determine where the item you are trying to add is located.
- If you want to back it up separately, you will need to move it to a location that is not already being backed up.
- If backing it up as a separate item is not important, just let BackJack back it up where it is.
