Symptoms

When BackJack began backing up, it told me that it will take hours/days/weeks to complete the backup.

Explanation

The estimated time is based on a number of factors including:  

1. Where in the backup process a session may be
2. Internet connection speed
3. The amount of data to be backed up
4. The number of files to be backed up.

The estimated time attempts to give you a rough idea as to how long a backup will take. It is based off of the first file that BackJack backs up. If the first file is the largest file, BackJack bases the remaining time on that file. After that file has been backed up, the time will come down. 

Resolution

Let BackJack run until the backup is complete.
