How To Backup and Restore TextEdit Preferences

How to Backup TextEdit:
- Quit TextEdit

Locate the ‘Preferences’ folder found here:
~/Library - Within the ‘Preferences’ folder, locate the com.apple.TextEdit.plist file
- Copy this file to your backup media
- You have now successfully backed up TextEdit's preference file.
Do this with BackJack
How to Restore Text Edit:
- Quit TextEdit
- Recover the com.apple.TextEdit.plist file that you backed up
- Copy it into here:
~/Library/Preferences - Enter the username and password for an administrator on your computer and click continue
- You have successfully restored TextEdit's preference file.
