Backup and Restore Bridge and Never Forget Your Highest Rated Media Files

Description:	This article shows you where to find your Bridge files and settings and how to backup and restore these items.

Backup:

1. Quit Bridge
2. Locate the 'Bridge CS5' folder found here:
3. ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
4. Copy this folder to your backup media
5. Locate the com.adobe.bridge4.plist file found here:
   ~/Library/Preferences
6. Copy this file to your backup media
7. You have now successfully backed up Bridge

Do this with BackJack

Restore:

1. Quit Bridge
2. Recover the 'Bridge CS5' folder that you backed up
3. Copy it into here:
   ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
4. Recover the com.adobe.bridge4.plist file that you backed up
5. Copy it into here:
   ~/Library/Preferences
6. Enter the username and password for an administrator on your computer and click continue
7. Launch Bridge located here:
   /Applications/Adobe Bridge CS5
8. You have now successfully restored Bridge
