Backup and Restore Adobe Contribute and Never Delay Another Blog Post Again

Description:	This article shows you where to find your Contribute projects and settings and how to backup and restore these items.

Backup:

1. Quit Contribute
2. Locate your *.htm project files found by default here:
   ~/Sites
3. Copy these files to your backup media
4. Note: You will also need to backup the project media (ie. audio, video, etc.) as they are not contained in the *.htm file 
5. Locate the 'Contribute CS5' folder found here:
   ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
6. Copy this folder to your backup media
7. Locate the 'Contribute CS5' folder found here:
   ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe
8. Copy this folder to your backup media
9. Locate the com.adobe.Contribute.plist and 'Adobe Contribute 6 Preferences' files found here:
   ~/Library/Preferences
10. Copy these files to your backup media
11. You have now successfully backed up Contribute

Do this with BackJack

Restore:

1. Quit Contribute
2. Recover the *.htm project files that you backed up
3. Copy them into their default location found here:
   ~/Sites
4. Recover both 'Contribute CS5' folder that you backed up
5. The folder that contains the folder called 'Configuration' should be copied into here:
   ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
6. The folder that contains *.plist files should be copied into here:
   ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe
7. Recover the com.adobe.Contribute.plist and 'Adobe Contribute CS5 Preferences' files that you backed up
8. Copy these files into here:
   ~/Library/Preferences
9. Enter the username and password for an administrator on your computer and click continue
10. You have now successfully restored Contribute
